This listening session takes queer Blackness as a vantage point for drifting through the city, disturbing the binary boundaries of religion, race, borders, gender, and sexuality. We ask what it means to craft community from that position.
We walk, we listen, we talk, we eat together. We move around and through Görlitzer Park, a space under permanent construction and deconstruction, surveilled and contested.
We follow the desires, joys, and frictions that official narratives leave out, and discuss with friends from diasporic and diverse communities what it means to construct a shared place in the face of neoliberal division, policing, and eviction.
